Calrec to showcase remote production audio white paper at SVG Europe event

Calrec’s ‘Going the Distance’ white paper examines the challenges of remote production

Newly available from Calrec is a free-to-download white paper examining the possibilities and pitfalls of remote production audio. ‘Going the Distance’ will be showcased during SVG Europe’s Remote Production Audio Forum, which will take place at Amsterdam’s DeLaMar Theatre on 14 September and is sponsored by Calrec.

Remote production is fast becoming more prevalent as many broadcasters look to it as a means of generating a wider range of high-quality content. However, this method of live broadcasting has its own very specific issues.

In its new white paper, Calrec identifies those issues with regard to audio production and offers a practical and cost effective solution. An illustrative case study is included to give context to the discussion points as well as demonstrating the application of the solution.

‘Going the Distance’ is now available to download for free at https://bit.do/goingthedistance.

Calrec’s Henry Goodman and Peter Walker will be among the speakers at the Remote Production Audio Forum, which will also feature contributions from Net Insight’s Larissa Görner along with leading OBs and SIs. Media partner for the event is Resolution Magazine.
