Times Network India chooses Grass Valley for MAM and playout

Times Network, an entertainment and news network in India owned and operated by Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd., has selected GV Stratus with K2 Summit 3G Transmission Clients connected to a K2 SAN storage system for video production and content management in entertainment and movie channel applications, as well as the ITX playout platform, iControl facility monitoring, Kaleido-X multiviewers, Kaleido-MX multiviewers and Densite 3 Frames to serve as the monitoring and master control system for ingest, live and file-based content across the facility.

Times Network has the highest viewer impressions among all English channels in India. The company prides itself on providing relevant entertainment content to its viewers around the clock on channels that include Movies Now SD, Movies Now HD, Movies Now2 SD, Movies Now2 HD, MN+, Zoom, Romedy Now SD and Romedy Now HD.
