Session leader

You will be taught by freelance EVS operator and editor Jamie Benning, a highly experienced trainer who works in studio-based and outside broadcast live sport. Benning has worked across all major European sports from Formula 1, Formula E, and Premier League and Championship football to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Benning is an EVS trainer and has recently taken on the role of Ambassador to EVS’ new replay system LSM-VIA.

Session format and outcomes

Benning will present using a live training set-up with examples from European sporting events. There will be ample opportunities during the workshop for audience questions. The session will be hosted by the internal head of SVG Europe Women and SVG Europe editor Heather McLean.

At the end of this workshop, you will have a strong understanding of the role of the LSM replay operator, and an appreciation of the basics on how to use this equipment. This will enable you to go onto further training to become a full LSM replay operator. The workshop will be held on EVS’ GoToWebinar platform.
