Telestream expands European operations

Telestream has formed Telestream GmbH, a fully-owned subsidiary of Telestream, Inc with the aim of supporting long-term business growth in Europe. The expanded Germany-based operations provide European-based technical support services, managed by Michael Wambach, for Telestream’s enterprise-class video capture, transcoding, workflow automation and management products.  More

RTV Slovenia chooses Quantel for news and sports

Slovenia state broadcaster RTV has chosen Quantel’s Enterprise sQ fast-turnaround production system to handle all of its news, magazine, studio clips and sports production needs. The system will be built around four Quantel sQ servers, providing a total of over 3000 hours of media storage using the latest HD MPEG4 AVCI compression.  More
