Adtec Digital Delivers Ultra HD Via EN-200, EN-100 Encoders
Adtec can deliver Ultra HD now, and will demo its new EN-200 and proven EN-100 encoders at Booth SU7602. Adtec technology can encode four quadrants out of a UHD camera in 3840x2160p60. The company’s software enables the four encoders to maintain the four quadrants in sync. With its DTA-3050, Adtec can multiplex the four quadrants into a single MPTS for transport over Fiber, Satellite, or IP. At reception, Adtec decoders can decode each quadrant at 1080p60 and maintain sync.

NEw RD-71 10-bit 1080P Receiver/Decoder
Adtec Digital’s RD-71 is a standard, high and 1080P IRD supporting multi-CODEC MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 AVC/H.264, multi-CHROMA 4:2:0 and 4:2:2, 10Bit and very low latency. The RD-71 is interoperable with other encoders making it ideal for mission critical trunking, ad-hoc OB, DSNG and teleport applications. The RD-71 supports MPEG 1 Layer 2, AAC-LC, Dolby Digital, Dolby E and Linear PCM audio. Transport service filtering allows the RD-71 to operate in bandwidth constrained turn around applications.
Brian Adair to participate in 4K 4 Charity
Adtec Digital is proud to sponsor Director of Sales and Business Development, Brian Adair, who will participate in the inaugural 4K 4Charity Fun Run at NAB Show
April 14, 2015 at 7:30 am.
Proceeds from the 4K 4Charity will be given to Heifer International, an organization that helps to link communities and bring in sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty. Additionally a portion of event proceeds will be given to Shade Tree, a local Las Vegas based charity which provides safe shelter to homeless and abused women and children in crisis.
