SGL To Unveil Avid Interplay Web Services Integration With Partial-File Restore

SGL (Booth SL5306) will announce further integration with Avid Interplay Web Services, including partial-file restore. The Avid/SGL alliance provides customers around the world with a fully integrated MAM/PAM and archive solution.

Although the fully implemented Avid Interplay | Archive provides a seamless user experience, smaller work groups may require a pared-down version. SGL’s support for Avid Interplay Web Services means that customers can use the archive capabilities that they currently require but can deploy Avid Interplay | Archive at any time in the future without the need to re-archive any content.

SGL is the only archive provider to enable partial-file–restore functionality as part of Avid Interplay Web Services. This feature enables operators to easily select and restore elements of a high-resolution clip directly from the archive. Prior to this, partial-file–restore functionality could be achieved only via the full Avid Interplay | Archive system.
