Sony, Burst Pact To Expand Presence of User-Generated Content in Broadcast, Live Video
Sony Electronics (Booth C11001) and Burst have signed a sales and marketing agreement that will allow broadcast, sports, and production organizations to take advantage of real-time user-generated content (UGC) video seamlessly and effectively without disrupting current workflows.
Under the agreement, Sony Electronics’ Professional Solutions of America group will take on the role of sales representative for Burst’s technology in the U.S. The collaboration marks the latest step in Sony’s ongoing efforts to develop new managed-services solutions in a range of markets and applications.

Sony will promote the Burst video technology as a complement to its line of broadcast and production systems.
