The EBU’s Beyond HD project will this week produce stereoscopic 3D test sequences at 1080p/50 and higher frame rates, according to Broadband TV News. Full resolution content is being produced at 1080p/50 per eye. The EBU work at the RAI facility in Turin is being supported by ARRI, Kamerawerk, Technicolor and TV Logic amongst others. ARRI cameras will be set to a much higher frame rate of 120 frames per second and sequences with high motion will be shot.
