ESPN inks Bundesliga deal for rights in UK, Ireland

ESPN and DFL, the commercial arm of the Bundesliga, have reached an agreement for live coverage of the German league to remain on ESPN in the UK and Ireland for the next three seasons. It includes exclusive rights to live TV coverage, along with rights to the German SuperCup, promotion and relegation matches, a weekly preview and highlights programme, as well as rights for content across VOD, online and mobile platforms.
