Record Six Nations viewing figures for BBC

According to BBC Sport, this year’s international rugby union Six Nations Championship has delivered record audience viewing figures. An average of 4.6m viewers watched live coverage during the tournament, while England’s clash with France drew a peak audience of 9.6m. These are the best figures since the Six Nations (nee the Five Nations) began in 2000.
