Nexidia Dialogue Search now accessible through Adobe Premiere Pro CS6

Nexidia’s media search product, Nexidia Dialogue Search, is now integrated with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 software. This solution provides content owners an automated way of importing media files identified using Nexidia’s powerful search capabilities directly into Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 for editing.

Dialogue Search searches through media libraries of all sizes to quickly and accurately find words and phrases contained in individual media files. It automatically discovers and indexes content and metadata stored in media asset and production asset management applications, as well as file systems and network volumes. Dialogue Search returns the results for words and phrases as time coded markers, which can then be exported back to the media asset management system or to leading video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

With this integration, Adobe Premiere Pro editors can quickly find and preview content of interest, and immediately use this content within Adobe Premiere Pro. This saves editors and producers time when selecting content, and eliminates the expense of logging and transcription.

“With the combination of Dialogue Search and Adobe Premiere Pro’s enhanced functionality, editors can spend less time locating and organizing clips and more time focused on producing creative content,” said Drew Lanham, SVP/GM, Media, at Nexidia. “And given Adobe Premiere Pro’s expanding user base across many market segments, many more users will be able to take advantage of the improved experience in the editing process.”

In addition to integration with Premiere Pro, Dialogue Search provides an integrated solution with leading MAM and other NLE vendors, unifying search across multiple content sources and editing environments.
