Next Generation Audio Summit 2018: Panel to explore AES67 and next steps for audio over IP

Phillip Myers (Lawo), Stephen Sandford (Clear-Com) and Kieran Walsh (Audinate) will join an IP audio panel discussion taking place as part of the Next Generation Audio Summit on 31 October in London.

The AES67 standard was published in 2013 and was immediately acclaimed for its ability to support a wide range of IP-based audio networking technologies.

As an updated version is published, this session will examine the relevance of the standard to broadcast audio as well as the ways in which it complements and intersects with other standards suites and programmes, including SMPTE ST 2110.

The session will also examine the broader context of developments regarding audio over IP and the benefits that they may bring to sports production.

Joining chair and RH Consulting founder and principal Roland Hemming will be: Phillip Myers, Lawo, senior director of IP Systems; Stephen Sandford, Clear-Com product manager; and Kieran Walsh, Audinate, director of application engineering for EMEA.

There are a few spaces remaining for this primarily invite-only event, so if you wish to attend please email David Davies ([email protected]).
