Agenda for SVG Europe’s Women in Sports Media Initiative winter holiday networking event announced

On Wednesday 13 December 2017 women from across the sports media industry are gathering to attend the inaugural SVG Europe’s Women in Sports Media Initiative winter holiday networking event.

Held at the DTG in Vauxhall, London, the event includes a relaxed discussion between UNESCO director of media, Mirta Lourenco, in conversation with Lise Cosimi, chief of external relations at HBS. Also, Jennifer Angell, director of international project services for broadcast at VER, will be interviewing Eva Spit, a successful OB engineer at CTV.

Alongside drinks and canapés, attendees are set to enjoy an evening of networking with their peers.

6pm Arrive and network

7pm Introduction to SVG Europe and its Women in Sports Media Initiative from contributing editor, Heather McLean

7.10pm Lise Cosimi-Breant, chief of external relations at HBS, on the SVG Europe Women in Sports Media Initiative

7.15pm UNESCO director of media, Mirta Lourenco, in conversation with Lise Cosimi, HBS.

7.30pm Jennifer Angell, director of international project services for broadcast at VER, in conversation with Eva Spit, OB engineer at CTV.

7.45pm The DTG’s Ranjeet Kaur, head of product testing at The DTG on her career progression and experience in a senior position amongst a male-dominated industry.

7.50pm Q&A followed by networking
