All PWR matches to be broadcast live for the 2025/26 season

Following the news that one Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) game per week will be shown on BBC Sport, PWR has now announced that, for the first time in league history, every single league match will be broadcast live throughout the 2025/26 season.
Each weekend coverage will be spearheaded by TNT Sports, which will broadcast the first pick from each round. Of the remaining three fixtures, one will be broadcast live on BBC Sport, and two will be streamed live on YouTube, ensuring that a global audience can watch more PWR action than ever before.
Genevieve Shore, executive chair of Premiership Women’s Rugby, said: “This is a huge step forward for the visibility of our league and the incredible athletes who light it up week after week.
“Making all matches available live – across TNT Sports, BBC Sport and YouTube – means more fans can connect with our game. It’s an unprecedented opportunity to showcase the quality, passion and competitiveness of Premiership Women’s Rugby to the widest possible audience.
“We know that visibility drives engagement and inspires participation. By making every match live, we’re not just creating a better experience for fans, we’re helping build the future of women’s rugby from grassroots to elite level.
“The PWR is the best women’s club rugby competition in the world, and we can’t wait to show that to more people than ever before.”
Rugby fans can tune in to the action starting with the opening weekend of the 2025 season, on 25-26 October, where all four matches will be broadcast across TNT Sports, BBC Sport and YouTube.
