Amagi renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship
Cloud technology specialist Amagi has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
The company helps TV networks and content owners launch, manage, distribute and monetise live, linear and on-demand channels across cable, OTT and FAST platforms globally.
Solutions include Amagi Cloudport and Amagi Live. Automated cloud playout tool Cloudport enables users to manage channels, tailor content and ads, and enjoy features like smooth media ingest, flexible scheduling, advanced graphics and comprehensive live controls.
With Amagi Live, users can manage live events for linear and VOD channels from anywhere. Broadcast and OTT channels cab be launched dynamically in UHD, with multiple feeds for specific events, maximising revenue opportunities.
The company has also formed a number of partnerships this year, as well as acquiring Argoid AI, an AI company specialising in recommendation engines and programming automation for OTT platforms.
By integrating Argoid AI’s advanced algorithms into Amagi’s existing platform, the acquisition aims to boost the functionality of Amagi’s product suite, including its Cloudport offerings, enabling media companies to make faster, smarter, and personalised content scheduling decisions at scale. It will also allow Amagi to deepen its AI-powered content programming, metadata enrichment, and recommendation engine services, which are crucial for transforming to personalised streaming as part of the FAST 2.0 innovation.
