The American Football League Europe (AFLE) appointed DMC Production Germany as its international TV production partner to deliver the international TV world feed for the 2026 season.
AFLE was founded in December 2025 and is scheduled to launch its inaugural season in May 2026.
The partnership is intended to support production operations across the league’s regular season and playoffs, with DMC Production Germany responsible for the technical and operational execution of live international broadcast production using a hybrid production model combining on-site production with centralised workflows.
Moritz Heisler, managing director and COO, American Football League Europe, said: “From day one, we made a commitment to produce our games at the highest possible level. Partnering with DMC Production Germany is a direct expression of that commitment.

“With a multi-camera setup that captures every angle of the game and a production model built for the scale and complexity of a pan-European league, we are setting a new benchmark for American football on television in Europe. We want every fan watching at home to feel the intensity, the speed, and the quality of what is happening on that field. DMC gives us the tools to do exactly that.”
DMC said the partnership was intended to ensure consistent production quality throughout the season while establishing a flexible and scalable production model for European league operations.
During the 2026 season, DMC Production will cover 36 games across France, England, Poland, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. Production for games in Duisburg and Berlin will be handled by an additional specialised production service provider.
DMC Production is responsible for the technical and editorial execution of all regular season and playoff games. According to the company, production workflows have been designed to support consistent broadcast standards across the season.
The production setup is based on a 10-camera concept that includes standard game cameras, a super slow-motion camera and a wireless gimbal camera. The world feed will be produced on-site using outside broadcast truck infrastructure.
The production model includes scalable camera configurations ranging from five to 14 cameras, modular production architecture and the use of local crews to reduce travel and logistics requirements.
The camera setup includes fixed, mobile and speciality cameras, including high-speed cameras capable of up to 150 fps, sideline and end-zone cameras, tactical views, cine cameras, goal-line cameras, wireless gimbal systems and super slow-motion cameras.
DMC Production said its broadcast infrastructure includes OB truck fleets, remote venue kits, uplink or SNG-based transmission, integrated stadium and commentary audio, and international delivery of full-mix and clean feeds. Production will be delivered in 1080i50 with uncompressed signal handling through to final handover.

The company said the production model was designed to reduce environmental impact through increased use of local production teams, reduced travel requirements and centralised broadcast resources.
Holger Enßlin, managing director, DMC Production Germany GmbH, added: “The AFLE 2026 season marks an important milestone for the future of European sports production. With our scalable production approach and the intelligent integration of remote and on-site workflows, we are shaping a new generation of live broadcasts – consistently high in quality, efficient, and future-oriented.”
DMC Production Germany is part of the Sweden-headquartered DMC Production Group and was formed in late 2025 through the merger of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH and rt1.tv mobile production GmbH.
