Arena Television renews Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship ahead of new launch

Arena delivered the 2020 FA Cup tie between Newcastle and Man City from a remote gallery for BBC Sport

Independent OB provider Arena Television has returned as a Bronze sponsor of SVG Europe. The company runs a fleet of 24 OB units, fly-pack modular remote production systems and studio production facilities and works across a range of international sports. Key contracts include English international football, the FA Cup, One-day Cricket Internationals, Six Nations Rugby, the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and European Darts.

According to Richard Yeowart, Arena managing director: “Arena leveraged its advanced remote production heavily in 2020 to assist clients during COVID. This runs in parallel to our push into new areas of operation, all of which makes our relationship with SVG Europe more relevant than ever before.”

Arena now offers traditional OBs across Europe, based out of both the UK and a new site in France. Yeowart added: “Following research with SVG Europe members, we also built a full suite of production facilities close to the M25 in the UK. We know SVG Europe members use a wide range of broadcast services. Our new fixed-base production control rooms, production offices and studio, all linked by ultra-fast diverse path connectivity, will shortly get its official launch through our SVG Europe sponsorship.

“Arena Television continuously strives to offer cutting-edge broadcast solutions to clients across Europe. SVG Europe provides us with a real time and relevant insight into current market trends, developing technologies and the ways that they can be implemented, with great visibility and reach across the industry.”
