Arista goes for Gold SVG Europe sponsorship
Arista, which offers data-driven, client to cloud networking for large data centre/AI, campus and routing environments, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
Solutions include CloudVision, a platform for cloud automation and visibility, which has recently been enhanced, enabling a modern network operating model for customers.
CloudVision’s latest feature set includes holistic 360-degree observability by integrating application and third-party data into Arista’s NetDL. CloudVision Universal Network Observability (CV UNO) leverages advanced machine learning for event correlations across topology-based, time-based and function-based dimensions. CV UNO drastically accelerates issue detection, inference and resolution, ensuring faster and more precise troubleshooting of application-related problems.
The company also offers a range of switches, including the 7500R and 7020TR families, which were recently deployed by TVM in its latest vehicle, OB10.
The 7500R and 7020TR switches run the Arista EOS network operating system. EOS is modular in design, based on a multi-process state sharing architecture that separates network state from dataplane processing. It enables fault recovery and incremental software updates on a fine-grain basis without affecting the state of the system, and so delivers the high resilience and reliability required for the most demanding media and entertainment workloads.
Gerard Phillips, systems engineer at Arista, said: “Arista Networks is pleased to renew its membership with SVG Europe in 2025. With the increasing adoption of IP-based workflows for high-value live sports production, utilising Arista’s expertise in ultra-reliable low-latency, high-bandwidth Ethernet switching is crucial for broadcasters and sports leagues, with many broadcasters and leagues across the globe currently relying on Arista’s deterministic network architectures to ensure seamless live production and remote workflows. By maintaining its valued SVG Europe membership, Arista can ensure its engagement with industry leaders, showcase its innovations like Advanced Network visibility and Media Control Service (MCS), and strengthen its partnerships with broadcasters, production companies, and streaming platforms that demand ultra-reliable, high-performance infrastructure.”
