Arkona renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship
Arkona, which provides IP core infrastructure solutions for audio/video routing, compression, processing and visualisation, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
The past 12 months have seen a number of milestones for the company, including the release of BLADE//runner version 2.7, which introduces new functionality such as the JXS16 app which doubles the amount of JPEG-XS instances compared to the previous app.
Blade//runner is designed with a flexible and modular software framework, offering a complete suite of live broadcast production software and hardware tools. These include capabilities for audio/video routing, compression and processing. The platform operates on arkona’s AT300 FPGA programmable acceleration cards, enabling real-time instantiation, control and monitoring of processing functions via a web-based UI, open APIs, and NMOS IS-04 and IS-05.
The company also partnered with manifold technologies to offer top-tier broadcasters a simplified path to IP with Easy-IP, a suite of live broadcast production software and hardware tools packaged to deliver a quick, safe and economical path to an IP infrastructure.
NEP opted for the Blade//runner AT300 platform to deliver audio and video gatewaying, routing and processing in its fleet of OB trucks. Blade//runner empowers NEP to handle complex multi-site productions with ease. The platform’s adaptability reduces the technical barriers associated with live broadcasting, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality production standards in diverse environments.
