Ashton Gate speakers join panels at SVG Europe Sports Venue & Fan Engagement Summit 2018

New panellists are joining SVG Europe’s upcoming Sports Venue & Fan Engagement Summit 2018, being held at ISE on Thursday 8 February, room E102, at the RAI, Amsterdam.

Mark Kelly, managing director at Ashton Gate — home to EFL Championship side Bristol City FC — is joining the ‘Stadiums Present and Future: Design Trends and Operational Changes’ session at 10:10am, while Paul Lipscombe, head of technology at Ashton Gate Stadium, is joining the ‘New Initiatives to Engage with Fans and Maximise Revenue Streams’ session at 1.15pm.

For its 5th annual Sports Venue Technology Summit SVG Europe has partnered with leading venue publication PanStadia & Arena Management Magazine to create this brand new event. This full-day Summit expands the focus to consider other areas related to the overall experience of the modern stadium, in particular those technologies geared towards enhancing fan engagement.
The Summit will feature panels and presentations from leading broadcasters, stadia operators, sports club executives, architects, service providers and specialist consultants and offer plenty of networking opportunities with over 200 delegates.

The ‘Stadiums Present and Future: Design Trends and Operational Changes’ session will feature a  strong panel made up of moderator John Sheehan, editor at PanStadia & Arena Management, plus   Peter Ayres, AECOM, director buildings and places, Mike Bondhiek, MD at PTI Consulting, Paul Brislin, director and architect at Arup, plus Kelly.

Meanwhile, the ‘New Initiatives to Engage with Fans and Maximise Revenue Streams’ session includes Lipscombe and  James Middling, global head of sports and events at Mott MacDonald.
