ATG Danmon UK has announced the completion of a major upgrade to the voiceover facilities at the London headquarters of Input Media. Based in West London, Input Media is one of the UK’s leading sports television production companies. Established more than 25 years ago, it produces over 2,000 of top-quality programming every year.

“The project required a quick turnaround,” comments ATG Danmon UK Projects Manager Dave Whitaker. “The voiceover facility is being used to create live sports commentaries. A central objective was to allow easy operation of all suites by a single person.

“We have upgraded a total of eight suites, each incorporating an Ikegami full high definition monitor display, plus Junger audio processors to provide functions such as de-essing, parametric equalisation, dynamics processing, peak limiting and programme loudness management.

“The system also includes Axon’s Cerebrum multi-device control and monitoring which allows the entire workflow to be managed via a bespoke but easy-to-operate user interface.”

“The upgraded facility is now fully integrated into the central broadcast infrastructure of our production centre, ensuring we can be agile and responsive to our clients’ requirements,” adds Input Media’s director of technology, Nick Symes. “The refurbished voicing facility enables us to provide a wide range of solutions, whilst remaining cost-competitive in the marketplace.”
