Blackmagic Design confirmed as Title Sponsor of Sports Venue Technology Summit 2016

Blackmagic DesignSVG Europe is delighted to announce that the title sponsor of its first conference event of 2016, Sports Venue Technology Summit, will be Blackmagic Design. This is the latest in a line of title sponsorships for the broadcast and video equipment manufacturer, most recently FutureSport, which took place at the Kia Oval on 2 December.

Devised in conjunction with RH Consulting, the Sports Venue Technology Summit will explore a day in the life of the contemporary connected stadium. Topics to be explored include new approaches to fan engagement, AV-IT integration, event preparation, temporary overlay and more.

This event is the successor to the Sport Facility Integration Summit format and once again takes place during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) – the world’s biggest AV, system integration and communication exhibition – on February 11 2016.

Confirmed speakers include: Hamish Greig, CTV OB, Technical Director; Tim Oosterop, Amsterdam ArenA, Production Manager, Scott Willsallen, Auditoria/Director/Founder; Ellen Camloh, NewTek, Senior Director of Global Product Marketing; Tine Helmle, BroaMan, Managing Director; Lars-Olof Janflod, Genelec, Marketing and PR Director; and Chris Dodds, The P.A. People, Managing Director. Sessions will be moderated by Roland Hemming and SVG Europe Managing Editor David Davies.

Commenting on the decision to support the Sports Venue Technology Summit, Blackmagic Design EMEA director Stuart Ashton remarks: “We are delighted to once again have the opportunity to be involved in, and support this event. The Sports Venue Technology Summit is a fantastic forum where creatives and technicians can come together and not only share their ideas on deepening fan engagement, but also to discuss the technologies required to improve the stadium experience.”
