Blackmagic Design opts for Gold SVG Europe sponsorship

Blackmagic Design has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe. The company, which offers a wide range of equipment for content creation and video editing, live production and more, has been active across the sports broadcast sector this year.

Stop & Go Productions opted for a range of Blackmagic equipment, including an ATEM Constellation 8K, for its OB5 truck, which was recently on site for the the FIBA 3×3 World Tour in Paris.

In addition, Andalusian second division football team Recretivo de Huelva is using an end-to-end live production workflow from Blackmagic to broadcast league fixtures via Spanish regional broadcaster Teleonuba.

Technology enhancements and introductions have also been plentiful throughout 2022. This includes the launch of a new family of live production switchers – a 1 M/E model with 10 3G‐SDI inputs, a 2 M/E model with 20 3G‐SDI inputs and a 4 M/E model with 40 3G‐SDI inputs, as well as 30- and 40-button models of the Atem 2 M/E Advanced Panel.

Also new was HyperDeck Shuttle HD, a  recorder/player designed for use on the desktop as an on-demand media player.
