Broadcast industry gets lit up by infiLED with new sports division
InfiLED, an international provider of LED displays and solutions, has launched a brand new division that will aim to bring the best of LED technology to the sports industry.

InfiLED Sports will operate from a 10,000 sq ft facility in Wiltshire, UK, and will offer customers LED solutions alongside what it describes as “a wealth of knowledge in high-level sports management” in order to bring a unique value proposition to the market.
Ben Da Costa, InfiLED’s co-founder and managing director said, “We’re using our LED display expertise and our passion and experience in sport and pulling those areas together. We are going to be leveraging some of our contacts in sport from UEFA, the FA and RFU to lend their expertise.”
He added that the new division is working with strong integration partners such as Dragon Digital and Project AV to get the products installed on site. “We’ve got the knowledge on the tech and they’ve got the real expertise to install; together, we and our channel partners can really go for the sports market.”

InfiLED has already made a name for itself in LED specification in the sports realm, including a number of sports installations across Europe including Lulea Ice Hockey Stadium in Sweden, where its partner Bright Group installed a double sided halo 150 square metres in size, plus Cardiff Arms Park and Morecambe FC.
The all-new InfiLED Sports will provide complete solutions and will consult on application possibilities. It will offer a range of products to the sports market including a customisable scoreboard solution, perimeter advertising in line with UEFA specifications, tailored LED billboards, versatile mini scoreboards and LED trailers. These solutions will include all software and hardware required for the system to be fully operational, with a range of features and functionality.

InfiLED Sports boasts a team of accredited engineers who can offer a rapid regional response with either site visits or remote access to offer customers a full turnkey solution. Da Costa leads the team. With a strong passion for sports, he is driven to design specialist visualisation solutions for football, rugby, netball, ice hockey and general sports stadia. InfiLED Sports general manager, Ed De Lucy, will also bring his extensive experience in sports and LED projects from across Europe.
