Broadcast Rental has announced that Frank Steenbeek has been appointed as COO (Chief Operating Officer). Steenbeek brings a vast knowledge of the business to Broadcast Rental. He has close to 20 years of experience in broadcasting and television production – most recently with Endemol Shine.
Broadcast Rental is the leading specialised professional AV rental company in The Netherlands with a strong focus on the international sports and entertainment market.
The role of COO is new to Broadcast Rental and motivated by the company’s growth and ambitions. “We have now reached a stage where we have to reallocate all tasks within our management team,” said GP Slee, founder and CEO: “I have known Frank for many years and, with all his experience with facility companies and producers, he is the ideal man for this job. As COO, he will oversee our operational process and the delivery of our projects. In addition, Frank will play an important role in the acquisition of new assignments at home and abroad. ”
Steenbeek’s appointment will enable Broadcast Rental’s co-owner Martijn Swart to focus on his rol as CTO (Chief Technology Officer). GP Slee: “With all his knowledge and enthusiasm, Martijn can now focus even more on what we are known for at Broadcast Rental: passion for innovation and technical solutions.”
