Broadcast Solutions delivers 11th Streamline OB unit to Mediatec Broadcasting

Beginning in 2011, Broadcast Solutions and Mediatec have worked together closely in developing the Streamline Concept, the aim being to conceive a flexible OB with standardised hardware and workflow concepts. The intended results of the project included shorter setup times, reduced training costs and great flexibility.

The concept was originally developed for smaller and somewhat less demanding productions. But working with the first units it became clear that this concept fits perfectly for large high-profile events, and today they have proven their ability to cover, for instance, the European Song Contest (ESC) or the IIHF World Championships.

Within three years of our agreement we have taken delivery of 11 Streamline units and a large Broadcast Centre in Oslo from Broadcast Solutions.
