Broadcast Solutions, one of Europe’s leading system integrators and technology providers in the broadcast and media industry, has upgraded to a Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
Antti Laurila, chief strategy officer at Broadcast Solutions, explained the rationale behind this decision: “We believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge-sharing to drive the future of live sports production. Our long-standing partnership with SVG Europe has provided us with invaluable insights and connections within the industry and enables us to foster our membership in the sports production community. By upgrading to Gold sponsorship, we are strengthening our commitment to this vital community, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and continue supporting the evolution of cutting-edge broadcast technology.
“We look forward to engaging even more closely with SVG Europe’s network and contributing to the conversation that shapes the future of sports broadcasting.
“We also look forward to expanding our presence within the SVG Europe network, gaining enhanced opportunities to share expertise, showcase groundbreaking solutions, and engage with key industry stakeholders.”
The company is also inviting all those involved in media technology implementations to its biannual Broadcast Innovation Day (BID). The event, on 8 May 2025 at the company headquarters in Bingen am Rhein, will feature presentations and discussions, as well as demonstrations from manufacturers and developers across the industry.
“We see a vital part of our role as ensuring all those involved in implementing technology are well informed and aware of the latest developments,” said Maximilian Breder, COO at Broadcast Solutions. “By throwing open the doors to our facility and working with many of our industry partners, we can provide a showcase for everyone who is interested to come and see innovation in action.”
About 40 industry-leading manufacturers will exhibit at the Broadcast Innovation Day, with experts on hand to talk about their latest developments. Visitors will also be able to see work in progress on major Broadcast Solutions projects and see examples of outside broadcast trucks. Throughout the day, there will be presentations and panel discussions on stage, bringing together experts from across the industry.
The Broadcast Innovation Day runs from 10:00 to 18:00 on 8 May. Entry is free for qualified visitors. Find out more about the programme of talks and panels, see the list of exhibitors and register to attend at www.broadcast-innovation-days.com.
