Broadcast Solutions inks RobyCam distribution deal with Movicom

At IBC2015 Broadcast Solutions GmbH and Movicom LLC, manufacturer of special camera solutions including the RobyCam3D aerial cable camera system, signed a contract regarding exclusive distribution through the German systems integration company. Henceforth Broadcast Solutions will be handling all sales and rental business for the RobyCam product family in several regions.

RobyCam is an aerialcable system that offers a combination of robotic winches, gyrostabilized camera heads and advanced computational algorithms, which allow a camera to follow literally any 3D trajectorywithin the working area.

Since its introduction into the market in 2008, the system has been used successfully in sports, concerts and other major events. Recent productions include: FINA Swimming World Championships 2015, Russia; The X-Factor, Italy 2015; Coppa Italia Final 2015; several major concerts in Japan; and covering the sermons during the Holy Month of Ramadan at the Sheik Zahid Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the biggest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.

Apart from Robycam,the Movicom portfolio includes rail and cable camera systems and gyrostabilized camera heads of different sizes, ranging from Polecam-compatible products to heads for studio cameras.

Broadcast Solutions is the exclusive sales distributor for the Robycam family of products in Europe, Middle East and South East Asia. In addition, the firm is the exclusive rental services distributor for the Robycam family of products in Middle East and South East Asia.
