BVE North hails ‘quality’ attendance

The third annual BVE North event – held at Manchester Central during 12-13 November 2013 – attracted 1,581 visitors, with 203 returning for the second day.

James Rowley-Ashwood, event director, BVE North, says: “For the third successive year BVE North was proud to support the content creation industry in the North, which is not only growing rapidly in size but also in stature. The feedback we received from exhibitors about the event has been positive, with senior level visitors spending more time discussing their requirements. Visitors have also praised their experiences with our exhibitors and also the quality of the seminar sessions, many of which were standing room only. BVE North will continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of the media companies and content creation professionals in the North of England, and we encourage the industry as a whole to participate in this process.”

Liz Cox, Marketing Manager, JVC Professional, says: “BVE North gave us the chance to catch up with many of our customers from the North; we were able to demonstrate our latest live streaming HD camcorders and professional monitors in the relaxed atmosphere of the show.”

Ian Mottashed, marketing manager, Cambridge Imaging Systems, adds: “BVE North provided a good opportunity to meet people in the region with a genuine interest in and requirement for the type of media management and publishing systems we offer. We enjoyed many meaningful conversations with prospective clients and it was also good to catch up with old friends.”
