Calibre UK LED scalers deliver World Cup content to German public screenings

Germany-based rental and staging specialists CASSIOPEIA Veranstaltungstechnik GmbH supplied Calibre UK PremierViewProHD-LED image scalers for public broadcasts of World Cup matches in the cities of Offenburg and Achern in Baden- Württemberg, SW Germany.

CASSIOPEIA’s technology manager, Martin Heuberger, said: “We provided several LEDMAN Optoelectronic screens ranging in sizes from 5 to 28 square meters. In addition to the World Cup screenings in Germany, Calibre UK FoveaHD MEMC standards convertors were used for frame-rate conversion of live World Cup matches in Brazil to viewers in countries with 50Hz television standards.
