Calrec renews Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship
Calrec, a designer and supplier of audio broadcast mixing equipment, has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.
The Yorkshire, UK-based company offers a range of broadcast mixing consoles, remote production and audio networking solutions. Recent innovations include the ImPulse cloud-based SP processing core, which provides a virtualised Calrec audio mixing engine in a cloud native AWS environment. Leveraging a patented x86 CPU optimal core processing (OCP) technology to operate in a virtualised Linux environment, ImPulseV is optimised for low latency throughput, providing real-time responsive, efficient and deterministic audio processing, control, routing and mixing.
Also new is the Argo M plug-and-play SMPTE 2110 native compact console, designed for small to medium applications. It features integrated DSP processing and no networking or PTP sync is required for independent operation. It also has built-in analogue and digital audio I/O and GPIO, 3 x modular I/O slots for further expansion, and a MADI I/O port via an SFP.
