Camera Corps Stump Cams deliver Cricket World Cup performance down under

Camera Corps has again supplied its HD Stump Cam to the ICC Cricket World Cup tournament currently taking place in Australia and New Zealand. These cameras give cricket fans an unparalleled view of the action and deliver high definition images from where they are integrated inside the middle stump at both ends of the pitch.

Camera Corps has provided the Stump Cams to the broadcast equipment supplier for deployment at the tournament. “We’ve worked closely with our client’s team to meet the demanding requirements of the project,” said Paul McNeil, Camera Corps head of projects.

“In addition to the fact that the tournament is being played across Australia and New Zealand, the turnaround times between venues were a huge challenge and we had to plan carefully to ensure all the kits were deployed in the most efficient manner. We also provided effective back up and support throughout the tournament,” he said.

The company’s next project is to supply the Stump Cams for use in the Indian Premier League, which begins in April.
