Chyron takes graphics to the cloud

Chyron will officially unveil its AXIS World Graphics platform to the EMEA market. AXIS World Graphics is a cloud-based graphics creation system designed specifically for broadcasters. The AXIS World Graphics platform integrates with existing workflows or Chyron’s BlueNet workflow, and combines technology and functionality, integration, and point-and-click customization.

Accompanying the EMEA launch of AXIS World Graphics are several new features and enhancements to the system, including electronic order management. Additionally, Chyron will show AXIS World Graphics integration with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro video editing. Chyron’s Lyric PRO 8 software is also now supported as a template creation tool within AXIS World Graphics.

The AXIS World Graphics services that will launch at IBC include tools for news graphics creation, electronic order management, and asset management. These initial services will be followed in 2012 by services to create high-resolution maps, 3D charts, and financial graphics.

AXIS World Graphics allows broadcast production staff to access prebuilt templates that they can leverage for creation of graphics for websites, mobile devices, and print publications.

BlueNet Graphics Creation and Playout System

Chyron will also demonstrate BlueNet, a comprehensive systen that addresses broadcasters’ requirements for streamlined end-to-end graphics workflows. BlueNet leverages Chyron’s acclaimed suite of graphics tools and allows ordering and graphics asset management, graphics creation, and real-time playout. Order management tools allow producer-driven content to be moved into a rundown, and management tools enable instant and efficient collaboration in preparing graphics.
