Cingularity, which operates at each stage of the remote production workflow, offering a full spectrum of end-to-end services, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
Services offered include a full range of encoding and monitoring services, event contribution networks, primary distribution over public and private cloud, and global channel playout.
Recent projects include building a resilient network solution for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). After a stringent review of WBD’s requirements, Cingularity extended its network infrastructure, connecting affiliate locations with its own core network. Cingularity’s network has nodes across the globe, which meant that WBD could easily leverage it for the distribution of its channel packages to the Nordic countries and Ireland.
The company has also worked with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which needed a cost-effective solution to broadcast matches that were happening in regionally specific parts of the world for its Billie Jean King and Davis cups.
The federation leveraged Cingularity’s core network to develop an IP-driven solution with Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) encoding. Although the SRT-encoding increased latency, Cingularity could reduce this by using its own global core network for intercontinental transport. The new IP solution has recorded fewer faults than previous solutions, meaning that broadcast feeds are higher quality, more consistent, and more reliable.
