Civolution expands media management portfolio

Civolution has announced the European launch of VideoSync – 2nd Screen, its companion device synchronization system for interactive content. In addition, the company announced major enhancements and new features on Teletrax, its global media monitoring platform. Teletrax is used by sport organisations to determine when, where, and how long their content is being used on television, internet, and radio around the world.

At IBC2011, Civolution will launch OnView, the company’s enhanced video streaming and search tool for Teletrax, watermarking plug-ins for leading asset management systems, and its transportable transcoding embedder.  The company will announce the global expansion of its video fingerprinting and video watermarking broadcast monitoring network, and expanded coverage of regional sports and news networks in the U.S.

“By launching solutions that bring measurability and consumer engagement to the broadcast space, we’re helping media businesses to enhance revenues generated from TV,’’ says Alex Terpstra, CEO, Civolution. “The new product launches at IBC are perfect examples of how Civolution’s watermarking and fingerprinting technologies can increase profits through tracking and triggering consumer activities.”

“Multiple and major new functionality in our Teletrax media monitoring platform enables rights-holders, distributors, advertisers, and sponsors to accurately monitor how their content is consumed, a critical measurement tool for media companies to calculate ROIs,” continues Terpstra, “The IBC launch of our VideoSync solution is also highly exciting, as it enables broadcasters and brands to generate new revenues by deepening relationships with consumers. I look forward to demonstrating our full range of interactivity, measurability, and content security solutions for the broadcast space at what is shaping up to be one of the most exciting IBCs.”

The Civolution IBC 2011 stand (Hall 2, C.30) will be separated into demonstration areas for Media Protection, Media Intelligence, and Media Interaction.
