Cloud media platform Newsbridge joins SVG Europe as a Gold sponsor

Newsbridge, a cloud media hub platform for live and archived content, has joined SVG Europe as a Gold sponsor.

Powered by multimodal indexing AI and a data-driven indexing approach, Newsbridge provides unprecedented access to content by automatically detecting faces, objects, logos, written texts, audio transcripts and semantic context. Whether it be for managing and accessing live recordings, clipping highlights, future friendly archiving, content retrieval or content showcasing and monetisation – the solution allows for efficient media asset management.

The Newsbridge platform is used by worldwide TV channels, press agencies, sports rights holders, production houses, journalists, editors and archivists to boost their production workflow and media ROI.

One recent example is Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC), current champions of Ligue 1, which selected Media Hub from Newsbridge to enable LOSC’s media team to centralise, work on and share hundreds of hours of new and legacy content via a shared cloud workspace. At the same time, the club’s online collection is ever growing as audiovisual content is indexed by Newbridge’s Multimodal AI. LOSC also plans to embark on a media asset monetisation programme which, among other initiatives, will include the ability for broadcasters, brands and other third-party service providers to licence and access unique clips from its archive.

Newsbridge CEO Philippe Petitpont said: “We’re pleased to sponsor SVG Europe and look forward to strengthening our connections within the sports broadcast industry. Many sports organisations face the daunting challenge of needing to digitise sizable on-site audiovisual archives, while at the same time manage the endless accumulation of new content.

“At Newsbridge, we’re passionate about helping organisations realise the value of their live and legacy content. We help them make their photo and video assets searchable, reusable and resellable in the cloud.

“Our AI-powered Cloud Media Hub auto-indexes content by detecting people, objects, logos, context and speech. It’s then easily searchable and accessible from anywhere. Sports organisations can establish new revenue streams by licensing their assets to content buyers through a customisable resale portal.”

The company also recently launched its mobile app for IOS and Android.
