VR will be in focus at Ravensbourne this July.

VRUK Festival is returning to London on the 6th and 7th July. The Festival is hosted by university-sector college, Ravensbourne, at its campus in North Greenwich, London, and welcomes content creators from a broad range of industries including film and television, music, art, animation and gaming.

The programme gathers world-leading practitioners and technologists to discuss the latest developments in the technology and the most ground-breaking virtual reality content. A demo area and VR cinema will showcase cutting edge virtual reality content and equipment, whilst interactive workshops give Festival attendees an opportunity to develop their VR content development skills. Attendees will come away with a greater understanding of how to leverage VR to engage their audiences, and there are ample networking opportunities to promote the exchange of ideas between the creative and technology sectors.

Event partners include Arts Council England, Avid Technology, Quantum and Immerse UK, while representatives of BBC Radio 4, The National Theatre, Rewind and Surround VR have all been announced as speakers.

Tickets are now available, with early-bird rates running throughout May. Find out more at www.vrukfest.co.uk
