The Corporate Star Awards 2025 shone a spotlight on innovation, responsibility, and inclusion across the broadcast media and entertainment industry, honouring organisations and individuals driving excellence in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

The awards were presented during a ceremony at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam on Friday 12 September.

This year’s winners reflect the sector’s commitment to building a more sustainable, equitable, and creative future, organisers said.

The Winners

• Open Doors Award: Bitmovin was recognized for embedding inclusion into its core business, ensuring underrepresented voices in streaming gain greater opportunities.

• Championing Workplace Wellbeing: Ad Signal won for pioneering mental health initiatives and fostering a culture of care in the workplace.

• Advancing Skills and Learning: ScreenCraft Works stood out for mentoring programs that connect diverse creative professionals across borders.

• Above and Beyond: Community Impact: Metadat-AI was honoured for demonstrating how artificial intelligence can drive real-world social change.

• Pioneering Partnerships for ESG Impact: Sony Europe and the Rory Peck Trust were celebrated for supporting freelance journalists with sustainable resources and advancing responsible industry practices.

• Excellence in ESG Reporting: Irdeto impressed with a data-rich, transparent ESG report that equips stakeholders to act with confidence.

• Trailblazing Carbon Reduction: Globo earned accolades for its circular economy program that cuts carbon while reshaping production practices.

• Game-Changer: Sustainable Product Innovation: Monks was recognized for eco-friendly production workflows that balance creativity and environmental responsibility.

In the individual categories:

• Rising Star: Moritz Ladwig was praised for early-career leadership in sustainability and his entrepreneurial ambitions.

• Outstanding Leadership: François Polarczyk (Accedo) won for bold, system-level sustainability strategies that inspire industry-wide change.

The judges also presented their special Changemaker Awards, honouring extraordinary disruptors in sustainability:
