Corporate Star Awards celebrate ESG champions at IBC 2024

The Corporate Star Award winners were announced on Friday 13 September during a gala dinner at the Okura Hotel attended by some 250 people in Amsterdam.

The Corporate Star Awards recognise ESG achievements in the broadcast media and entertainment sector, celebrating those leading the way to a sustainable future.

The 2024 winners

  • Best ESG Report – Sony
  • Best Initiative to Strengthen Global Partnerships – France Télévisions
  • Product Innovation Award – Appear
  • Best ESG Ambassador or Leader – Carla Maroussas, Rise Women In Broadcast
  • Rising Star – Samantha Leigh, Green Spark Group

Barbara Lange, chair of judges for the Corporate Star Awards, said: “Judging the Corporate Star Awards is a truly rewarding experience, enabling us to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in ESG across the broadcast and media tech industry.

In a joint statement from the organisers, Lisa Collins of Dovetail Creative and Ben Gill of Red Lemon Events, they expressed their excitement about the continued growth and success of the Corporate Star Awards.

Looking ahead to 2024, the next Corporate Star Awards will be held on Friday, 12 September, at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam, coinciding with the first evening of IBC 2024.
