DAZN adds National League TV to streaming offering
DAZN has integrated the UK’s National League TV into its platform, making DAZN the international home for the Vanarama National League, as well as the National League North and South divisions.
Broadcasting rights for the National League – the fifth tier of the English football league system – were acquired by DAZN in August, when DAZN announced plans to integrate the service into its own platform.
Starting Saturday 9 November, DAZN began broadcasting National League fixtures directly on its platform, showing Aldershot vs Wealdstone and York vs Hartlepool at 12:30 PM, followed by Barnet vs Oldham at 5:30 PM. Overseas viewers (who are not subject to the league’s 3pm blackout rules) had access to all nine remaining games in the National division, bringing DAZN’s non-league football coverage to audiences around the world.
Existing subscribers of National League TV have had their accounts migrated to DAZN as part of the transition.
Prior to the integration DAZN had already been producing select National League matches for streaming on nationalleaguetv.com.
