deltatre: a team of 100 to reach the Final

deltatre has announced its involvement in the coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament. With a set of digital, media and broadcast services as well as on-venue operations, deltatre will be working from Brazil as well as from its headquarters in Turin to enable the most advanced coverage of the tournament, which kicks-off Thursday.

In addition to the redesign and development of the Federation’s primary digital communication property, www.fifa.com/worldcup, deltatre is also providing the football’s governing body with results system and TV graphics services for the live coverage of all matches for audiences around the globe. Furthermore, a bespoke version of deltatre’s Diva digital video has been created to deliver powerful digital video coverage to more than 10 rights-holding broadcasters worldwide.

Almost 100 deltatre sports specialists and technicians are currently settled in the 12 Brazilian cities, including 48 on-venue operators alternating in each stadium, six specialists at the International Broadcast Centre in Rio de Janeiro supporting international TV channels, and a team of 20 people executing services from the Operations Centre (OPC) in deltatre’s Turin headquarters.
