With the Copa América currently underway, Canal 13 is delivering more than just the ‘regular’ type of football coverage to its audience for the South American international competition. Building on its successful World Cup collaboration, the Chilean TV station has again chosen sports digital and broadcast specialist deltatre to provide the design, technology and delivery of a suite of fan-engaging, on-screen and studio-based football graphics – including match and presentation graphics – to gain superlative football coverage of the oldest tournament in Latin America.

Joining forces with providers Datafactory (data) and Vizrt (production tools), at the heart of deltatre’s personalised solution for Canal 13 is Magma, the firm’s proprietary sport software that instantly turns live sport data into broadcast-ready TV graphics of the tournament in Chile. The solution, relying on official data ingestion for content creation, can provide football fans with new levels of insight, and help the presenter with a comprehensive and interactive information tool, rich in pre, in-match and post-match analysis and statistics.
