deltatre’s 2016 Charity Football Tournament begins in London
Supported by many of its clients and partners, sports media services company deltatre is set for the kick-off its sixth annual Sports Industry Charity Football Tournament today (July 26), this year in aid of the UK-based charity School of Hard Knocks.
School of Hard Knocks is a social inclusion charity that uses sport to tackle the issues surrounding unemployment, crime and health – working with individuals to help them take responsibility and positive steps forward in their lives.
“Working first-hand in the sports industry, we know what beneficial impact sport can have,” commented Chris Catling, managing director (UK) at deltatre. “We are so grateful to our clients and partners for supporting us in this fantastic evening of sport and be able to make a contribution to a worthwhile cause in support of the School of Hard Knocks.”
The past editions of the deltatre Charity Football Tournament raised up to £1,500 in vital funds. The 5-a-side tournament will take place at the Goals Gillette Corner and will see teams turn out from the Premier League, IMG, the ATP, Input Media, Sky Sports, the European Tour, SportsPro Media, the RFU, ITV Sport and SportBusiness Group battling to take home the coveted trophy.
