Digital Sports Summit: EggChasers Rugby, Harlequins and HBS/Skroller join speaker line-up for London event

Speakers from EggChasers Rugby, Harlequins, the Rugby Players Association and HBS/Skroller have been added to the line-up for Digital Sports Summit. This full day conference and networking event, sponsored by TATA Comms Media, will take place on 25 June at Kings Place in London.

In a special showcase session, Rachael Burford, head of women’s rugby at the Rugby Players Association, and HBS/Skroller general manager Jamie Aitchison will be joined by Harlequins centre Orla Proctor to discuss how and why female rugby players are becoming digital content creators, a move that is helping both clubs and leagues resonate with new and different audiences.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a fireside chat with Tim Cocker (pictured) of YouTube channel EggChasers Rugby, which has recently gained the UK and Ireland rights to the second tier of French rugby, the Pro D2.

In addition, David Scriven, Little Dot Sport, partnerships director, will explain how to successfully launch a D2C service, while Scott Miles, Sky Sports, head of content delivery; Donald Sievewright, Matrox, EMEA sales manager; and Alex Ferris, LucidLink, senior director of solutions engineering, will explore how content hubs can streamline the distribution of sports video across multiple platforms.
