Dimetis and L-S-B partner for live broadcast production and transport operation

Operations Support System (OSS) supplier Dimetis has entered into a partnership with L-S-B Broadcast Technologies, a provider of broadcast control and monitoring systems. The new partnership gives broadcast customers flexible management tools for video production and live video transport.

The L-S-B Virtual Studio Manager (VSM) control system brings together the requirements for a safe and flexible broadcast operation. User panels and interfaces can be configured to meet the requirements of different workflows and applications, while the whole system is under redundant control. The Dimetis BOSS LINK Manager(BLM) dynamically configures, schedules, monitors and controls video/audio/data connections across transmission networks of all types. The customer’s quality of experience is taken to a higher level of simplified and integrated operation.

Broadcasters can route live video without the limitation of using resources from remote sites. The customer benefit is interconnecting distributed production sites with ad hoc, or scheduled links — no need for configurations of WAN links, and the complexity is hidden within the smart integrated BLM-VSN integration.
