EBU, Flanders Classic extend Tour of Flanders partnership

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Flanders Classics NV have announced the renewal of their partnership for the distribution of European media rights to the Tour of Flanders for a further four-year period.

The cycling race is an integral component of the cycling calendar and is also part of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) World Tour.

Stefan Kuerten, EBU director sports & business, comments: “We are extremely pleased that Flanders Classics has decided to continue its successful partnership with the EBU. This agreement shows once again the commitment of the EBU and its Members to the sport of cycling and shows the importance of a wide reaching coverage on free to air channels.”
