The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has confirmed that 29 EBU Member broadcasters and licensees will deliver unprecedented free-to-air coverage of the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, spanning 27 European territories.
This announcement follows the award of exclusive media rights across continental Europe (excluding Italy and the UK) to the EBU by Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 last year.
Coverage will be provided by the following broadcasters:
ORF (Austria), RTVA (Andorra), RTBF (Belgium), VRT (Belgium), HRT (Croatia), Ceska Televize (Czechia), DR (Denmark), ERR (Estonia), YLE (Finland), France Télévision (France), GPB (Georgia), ARD/ZDF (Germany), ERT (Greece), MTVA (Hungary), RUV (Iceland), The Sport Channel (Israel), LPSM (Latvia), LR (Lithuania), NOS (Netherlands), NRK (Norway), TVP (Poland), STVR (Slovenia), RTVS (Slovakia), RTVE (Spain), SVT (Sweden), SRG SSR (Switzerland), TRT (Türkiye) and Suspilne (Ukraine).
Additionally, Warner Bros. Discovery will offer daily highlights from the event across Europe on their linear sports channels, for the first time.
Together, broadcasters will offer audiences at least 900 hours of free-to-air multi-platform coverage, ensuring wide public access to the Paralympic Winter Games, which this year celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Alongside this extensive coverage, Eurovision Sport, the EBU’s free-to-air streaming platform, will provide exclusive live and on-demand coverage of the Paralympic Winter Games across Europe. The platform will stream all six Paralympic Winter sports, enhancing discoverability and offering audiences additional free access complementary to national broadcasts.

The coverage builds on the outstanding free-to-air delivery of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games by over 50 EBU Members, reinforcing the EBU’s commitment to universal access to major sporting events.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games will take place from 6 to 15 March 2026 and will bring together up to 655 Para athletes competing in 79 medal events across six sports: Para alpine skiing, Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para ice hockey, Para snowboard and wheelchair curling.
