Edgio renews Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe

Edgio, which helps companies manage, monetise and deliver streaming video worldwide, has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe.

The company’s solutions include Uplynk, which enables teams to ingest, encode, manage, monetise, secure, distribute and monitor streaming services and deliver broadcast quality at global scale.

At the end of 2023, Edgio announced it had secured $66 million of new financing from existing investor Lynrock Lake Master Fund, which would enable its business transformation to continue.

Since then, the company has announced the availability of Common Media Client Data (CMCD) reports for its delivery clients to help companies gain better insight into how their streaming services perform across multiple video players.

Free to Edgio customers, these reports provide valuable insight into the behaviour and performance of content and video streams and are delivered with a data latency of approximately 5-10 minutes. By leveraging CMCD reports, Edgio’s customers can make data-driven decisions to optimise delivery, resulting in improved user experiences and reduced operational costs.
