Elemental, Ericsson team up for 4K 4Charity Run at IBC, 13 September

Broadcast industry professionals are used to running around a trade show floor and IBC is no exception. But this year Elemental and Ericsson are giving attendees and exhibitors alike a chance to run around, literally, for charity and to celebrate the growth of 4K technology via a 4K run on the morning of 13 September near the RAI exhibition centre.

Elemental and Ericsson are partnering with Oxfam for charitable donations and ONE for volunteer support. Proceeds from the 4K 4Charity will be given to OxfamInternational, which works to change the world by mobilizing the power of the people against poverty. ONE is an advocacy organization dedicated to the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease around the world, particularly in Africa.

The run is set to begin at 7:30 am and registration proceeds will support Oxfam and ONE (entry fee ranges from 15-50 euros and, of course, larger donations are accepted).
