Elemental Technologies demos Rugby World Cup role

In collaboration with recently announced customer deltatre, Elemental will show fast turnaround of Rugby World Cup 2011 match highlights for the official event website and mobile applications. In the demonstration, Elemental Server creates on-demand game clips and delivers them as 22 distinct adaptive bit rate outputs feeding seven different platforms.

Elemental Technologies brings its complete product suite to this year’s IBC to demonstrate adaptive bit rate multi-screen video delivery, including simultaneous real-time encoding of multiple video streams targeted to TV, PC, tablet and mobile platforms with support for user-inserted messages, SCTE-35 and SCTE-104.

Also look for dynamically change graphics in a live output stream or vary the position of an overlay within a frame for content branding and tracking; video  management for multiple Elemental units that ensures reliability, redundancy and security through a centralized and easy-to-use interface., and a close-up look at the dramatic video quality improvements available with Elemental’s powerful video processing software.

In addition, Elemental will be a featured partner in SeaChange stand 1.C27. SeaChange will demonstrate ad insertion for new media using the award-winning Elemental Live system. For this application, the company uses SCTE-35 messages supplied by Elemental Live to insert downstream ads in real-time for delivery to Adobe Flash players and to Apple devices such and the iPad and iPhone.

IBC attendees can also join Elemental CEO Sam Blackman as he participates in a live panel interview, exploring the growth of the connected device market and the impact of multi-platform video delivery. The discussion, hosted at the NDS stand 1.A71 on Friday, September 9 at 16.30, will be moderated by industry journalist Chris Forrester and includes participants from Morega, NDS and Screen Digest.
